Not sure why Riera is wanted in the starting lineup, he's been fucking terrible and rightly dropped. As difficult as it is to say Babel probably deserves a start as he has been good by his standards lately. I would have Maxi on the right and Aqualani starting alongside Masher.

 

The last time Mascherano played with Aquilani he ignored him all night. It was though he didn't know how to use him. I reckon Lucas and Aquilani would be a better pairing for this kind of game.

What worries me is that Portsmouth have fuck all to lose and play decent football at times anyway. If we start with two holding midfielder's again then it will give them an extra lift from the off. Please go for this game from the off!!

I am worried about tonight as we are playing poorly and Portsmouth will not be a pushover. Just hope we can play better than last Thursday. I think the first goal will be very important and if we score it should put confidence in the team.
