Your talking crap, Rafa turned down Alves, said 12m was too much, he forced Alonso out, the lad was in tears, the year before he left, Pato Aguero? are you for real?

He spent millions fucking millions and destroyed good teams because people were bigger than him. The man was a fucking lunatic. He has destroyed our team on the pitch spent fucking millions.

Fuck off to rawk or join the Rafa wake. The man was a joke, who thought he could run the whole club. He should have just done his job.

The players hated him.

Al he turned down Alves after twice agreeing a fee with Del Nido.

We had a bid accepted at £10m then £12m, then they wanted £14m

What was he supposed to do? Del Nido was clealrly taking the piss.

As for the rest of your post I just assume you're in a bad mood.

I have seen the documents over Alves(from slick) Rafa turned it down, We had Alves on a plane, and Rafa turned it down. Big book coming out soon to prove it. A fair few need to take cover over lies.

Sounds like something that would be an interesting read. Whats the story with that?

No, Rafa didn't think people were bigger than him, He thought he was bigger then them. Anyone in the boardroom who posed a threat to his authority were seen off, players who were bought for big money were shunted out/subbed, or sold asap. He spent half a season at least rejecting modest contract offers, as he didn't think it gave him enough power. When he did accept it, it was on money noone had, and could have crippled us. Last season, he was speaking to other clubs about his future, while claiming to stay here for "the fans".

Then of course, there's the memories on the pitch. Barnsley, Benfica, Burnley, Reading, the 4-6 against Arsenal, the disgraceful Keane and Alonso episodes, the stubbornness, the tactics, the rotation, that photo of the 10 year old against Reading seeing his beloved Reds dumped out of yet another cup competition, to name just a few.

Off the field, he was a different person, extremely likeable and very generous. It shouldn't have ended up how it did, and if he focussed on scoring points on the field instead of the boardroom, it wouldn't have.

6 years of warfare and mayhem were brought to a close this summer. It'll take more than 2 games for Roy to win the peace.

You're nuts and so is ATK. A year ago I suggested that ATK's fascination with money and gossip and his potty conspiracy theories about Rafa, not to mention his downright lies about him, made him a perfect co-author for Fatty Oldham and his non-book Anfield Exposed. It doesn't surprise me that he's now pushing a non-book with the same theme.

If he starts asking for 5 pound deposits - watch out!

In fact I would welcome ATK and his looney cronies putting their stuff about Rafa into hard print. It would be so much easier to sue them.

Absolute rasper, top trolling.

Some bad cranks on here still obsessing over a manager that departed almost 4 months ago. It's not about the ex manager, it's not about the current manager or the players or certain journalists or whatever other bones people are picking over, it's about those cunts upstairs that are raping and pillaging the club of all its worth. Stating the obvious, eh.

They got a bad dose those Texas Rangers fans, we're getting double the dose. How do the majority of Liverpool fans react, even now, this late in the day, administration on the horizon....

They're all still pissing and moaning about trivialities, most of them more concerned with their own agendas and seeing to their own ends. Others still haven't seen the warning signs and cry scaremongering.

We're in terminal decline, Jose wouldn't touch us with a shitty stick but still the nu-age whoppers remain comatose, hoping on a miracle..... Keith Harris, Peter Kenyon, Kenny Huang........ the birds gotten that desperate.

Nero Fiddled while Rome Burned

Just put her out of her misery and spare us from this tedium.

Alonso was in tears? You know this how? Was he in tears when everyone wanted him to stay and he stuck in his transfer request for his big payrise and dream move to Real Madrid?

Pato and Aguero, well just look them up on Google. Yes, I am for real.

Spent millions and millions destroying good teams?! What the fuck are you talking about!? These millions and millions including signing world class and very decent players who undoubtedly improved us, yes he had his flops, which manager hasn't. Keane and Aquilani namely, Slur spent how much on Reservatov and Anderson?

The man was a lunatic? Seriously, let's be honest now. He was a 2 time La Liga winning, Uefa Cup, FA Cup and Champions League winning manager. Who took us to the closest we've ever been to winning the League in 20 years and for long time to come until that's topped. He's an elite coach who walked into the Inter Milan job and will be a big success there. He's 5 times the manager Roy Hodgson could ever hope to be. Trophies says it all, Roy has none worth mentioning. Rafa got the Liverpool job off the back of winning 3 big trophies, Roy got it of the back of reaching a UEFA Cup final with underdogs and being English.

Pull your head out of the sand, when will you realise just how big a loss Rafa is for us. You think Roy Hodgson is gonna get us to two Champions League finals and a semi? You think Roy Hodgsons gonna challenge for the league? Shit I don't even think Roy Hodgson will improve on last season. He's working under the same constraints Rafa has for the last 2 years, where Rafa reached a CL Semi-final, and achieved 86 points in a league season.

This managerial change alone is going to set us back a few years. But it's alright, cause Cecil's happy, so are the plastic mongs and the media.

That is so retarded.

You are so retarded. It's called google, fucking use it!

Wasn't this the same with Simao? He was on the plane ready to come over but their chairman pulled the plug because he wanted more dough.

I didn't think it was both Simao and Alves?

Alonso never dreamed of playing for Madrid and he had his chance and turned it down to come to Liverpool where until his manager spat in his face and tried to sell him cut down price to bring in Barry, he was extremely happy and had not entertained any thoughts of leaving. He rightfully threw in his transfer request after his manager lost faith in him, tried to replace him and he was our player of the season. He has said on numerous occasions although he is happy to be in Madrid he didn't wish to leave Liverpool and it was the hardest decision he has ever had to make. He also refused to badmouth Rafa even though he had every right to do so.

Pato and Aguero, well just look them up on Google. Yes, I am for real.

At no point did we have any chance of signing either and I was on to both before Rafa so does that mean I'm great as well?

Bought Alonso and Torres, fucked one over and took the joy out of playing football for the other in his second season. Fucked Keane over royally to prove a point and Aquilani, well that was just genius and in no way could anyone see a problem there.

The man was a lunatic? Seriously, let's be honest now. He was a 2 time La Liga winning, Uefa Cup, FA Cup and Champions League winning manager. The reason Rafa couldn't win the prem is because he was all about being solid, compact and taking no risks. That might work in Spain where his only threat was Real Madrid at a time they weren't at their best but over here United will push you right till the end. What he did in Spain was give a team a fighting chance and hope Real imploded which they did. Fair play he backed the right move there but that wasn't the same tactic we needed over here.

His overly cautious play and his downright stupidity to tell the whole squad (WHEN THEY WERE TOP OF THE LEAGUE) that basically other than Gerrard, Torres and Reina if he had cash they'd all be replaced. SMOOTH. No way that was going to backfire. If it was a tactic it worked on ONE player as far as I could see, Benayoun went from being a sulking moaning useless muppet to a quality player who was determined to show his worth. A true man manager however would have known that what he was doing was a massive risk and would not even come close to paying off.

If the UEFA Cup is your best argument then you're really missing the big picture on that one.

Rafa took a team that was starting to be shown the way by Hector Cuper in the CL to the UEFA Cup final. Players like Casillas, Ayala, Albelda, Baraja, Aimar, Mista etc

What did Roy do ? He took a team that without his guidance were favourites for relegation and in 2 years put them in the final of the UEFA Cup. If Rafa had got to the UEFA Cup final with Tenerife in the same time period then you'd have a comparisson! Of course logic flies out of the window where he is involved both for himself and his supporters of which you may well have noticed I am not one.

Pull your head out of the sand, when will you realise just how big a loss Rafa is for us. You think Roy Hodgson is gonna get us to two Champions League finals and a semi? A 7th placed manager who was sucking the life out of the club and wanting full control as well as spending half his time battling with the board was not good for us and he is not a loss. I don't think anyone could challenge for the league in our situation and fourth place would be fantastic and a real achievement thanks to the state Rafa and the board have left this club in! The fact you are talking about the league at all shows how bias and deluded your argument is. When Roy is able to buy Alonso and Torres then he's working under the same constraints. It isn't even close. So far he's been given 5m to spend on his squad, a squad that has holes in far too many places. A squad that needs a first choice holding midfielder, a left back and a striker as well as more quality on the wings if we are to play 4-4-2.

Rafa had far worse results than Roy has in his first 4 games so how about we give the lad a chance and let him build something before we start to knock it down.

This managerial change alone is going to set us back a few years. But it's alright, cause Cecil's happy, so are the plastic mongs and the media.

Finishing 7th, out two top players considering their futures (how many think Torres and Gerrard would be here now if Rafa was? Yeah all was great before Rafa left and it's clearlly the 4 games in charge Roy has had that have killed us.

I think Rafa Benitez is a good manager in his own right but there seems to be a pattern where he needs everything to be his own way and as soon as he becomes a favourite for something it never transpires?

Proof? He couldn't work under the conditions at Valencia, Liverpool and I give it a few years before he gets his feet under the desk at Inter and starts with unreasonable demands.

When we were the underdogs for the CL, massive underdogs we won it. When Rafa was given more money and made a better squad we lost to a team we should never have lost to and him playing Gerrard as a striker is worse than anything Roy has done so far!

He's a man who likes managing the underdog and that's why I think he might have problems in Italy as if the others (namely Milan) get it sorted then he could be under real pressure as they have grown accustomed to winning and thanks to Mourinho, winning big.

He has no room for error at Inter. In my opinion, he has to win Serie A this season and progress to the later stages of the CL minimum. Anything less will see him getting the boot. If he fails to progress past the group stages of the CL, he will be run out of Milan by an angry mob.
