Reira was dreadful. as with Aurellio and Aquailani.

Thought Agger done ok, at least tried to get things moving and create a bit of space by committing people. Babel showed how shit and non physical a side they were when he came on. Masch played decent but was trying to do a lot of clever stuff that didn't come off (much of the time when Aquilani was free in good positions alongside him). So I'd go

Probably agree - which anyone who knows me will tell you is amazing as Babel and Skrtel are two of my least liked players at the club, but fair play

 

Babel looked skilful and bothered when he came on - and was 100 times more effective than Reira who i often like and will defend but yesterday he was rubbish. Also Babel was not too bad V Arsenal so maybe my 'get out of our club with your stinking attitude' rant in agreement with Dave U after the derby was premature - we'll see what hes like for the rest of the season but if Torres continues to be absent I may almost prefer him to Ngog now. Our attacking options with Ngog leading the line by himself imo are awful.

 

Skrtel I never feel comfortable with feeling like defensively he is a mistake waiting to happen and also he seems a 'hoof it' player but yesterday he looked confident defensively and his passing was OK too.

Wanted to give 3rd to Agger but Babel really made a difference last night when he came on and I don't think we'd have one had he not been brought on. Hopefully Agger can build on a good performance though, would love to see him back to his best.
