TLW Vs RAWK...

I signed up to RAWK a couple of years before stumbling onto this forum.

Introduced myself with passable English and grammar (was always more of a maths nerd as opposed to English) , only to receive a PM from some woman saying stop using textspeak or you'll be banned.

Didn't stay much longer.

If air travel is still a no go this summer I might book a long weekend on RAWK for the family. There’s lots to do over there, even if the service is sometimes a little questionable.

I tried that, got lost at the check in.

I’m banned. Would be arrested at passport control. This did actually happen to me once in Amsterdam, unpaid speeding fine in a hire car from years ago. They’re efficient fuckers in Holland.

My wife set fire to my passport in Amsterdam. We also conceived our first child there. Good memories.

Was that on the same evening ? I’ve had a lot of girlfriends like that.

Same trip. Could have been the same night, not sure. If I look at my sixteen year old son now, I can still remember the drug/alcohol haze within which his life was sparked. I can also see my passport on fire in the room but can’t be sure it was the same night.

To be fair, the passport thing was an accident. She hid both of them on an upside down lamp thing. I told her to use the safe but she knew better. We then got back from doing whatever, turned the light on, forgot the passports were there until smoke started appearing. As mine was on the bottom, of the pile of two, it had burnt a big hole in it. As is the way with these things, hers was completely fine.

I know a few people that have to fly via Belgium. I also know one who was arrested flying back on Christmas Eve at Schiphol.

Not sure what it is, but just the layout of it is very dated and unattractive. I could never be arsed with it.

As opposed to TLW's three days of down time each time Dave adds a new design to the website. Mind you,I'm probably just being harsh on Woo's 'friends' not pedalling the generator fast enough.
