Racist

hahaha. cunt ;)

Ted - i really rate Arbeloa. I'm a bit of a full back lover. Rob Jones, heggem, babbel, finnan, arby and now Johnson.

I just thing johnson has more to his game. ideally i wish arbeloa would still be here as he'd easily be our best left back too.

If the shackles are release and he's given freedom Johnson could be one fot he best right backs in the world. Right up there with Alves and Maicon I genuinely believ that. And this is coming from someone who thougth he was utter dogshit 3 years ago. He's improved immesnley.

Yossi, always thought he was decent but i would have rather have kept Garcia at the time

i was another who thought Vaz Te would be class, i am now a huge fan of Adam Johnson but i think there is a chance he could never make it properly

then Newcastle summer 2005, sign Emre,Luque,Owen and Parker, eh up add that to Shearer, Given, Dyer, Jenas(at begining) and Solano and possible champions league contenders, thank fuck for Souness,Bramble and Boumsong

I think Arbeloa atttacked just as much as Johnson.

Maybe not as much but his attacking instincts were very underrated, he available as an out ball quite a lot too.

I think we really really miss him.He turned into an all round top defender while with us plus Madrid robbed us with the pittance they paid.

We allowed him to run his contract down though, mate.

Surprised there hasn't been a mention for Robbie Keane. I had huge doubts about the move at the time in fairness, but never imagined it turning that bad, that quickly though. That was impressive.

N'Gog i had written off from the beginning, he just reminded me of a striking version of Djimi Traore, whose mind was telling him one thing, but his body would do something completely different. But i've been pleasantly surprised by his deftness at times and think if he continues to progress nicely we'll have a fairly handy player on our hands.

I thought Baros could have been amazing at one time.

Mark Gonzalez. I thought he was going to be amazing.

Yep. I followed all his spanish live games and he ruled. I've only followed Spanish football before when Macca was playing. The boy just didn't have the English game on him.

I've not watched Spanish football since.

I have to disagree about Arbeloa. He's a better defender but not going forward in tight English matches. Johnson has outshone him. I think I could play right back for Madrid, you just hope the CBs cover you. I'll always like Bob though.

I thought Nigel Clough would be the perfect player for us.

I thought Paul Stewart was just what we needed.

I thought Cisse would prove a much better signing than Drogba.

I thought Christian Ziege would be ace.

I thought Houllier had lost his mind when he signed McAllister.

Never been as excited about a Liverpool signing as I was when we bought Clough. Was convinced he would be the closest we'd get to Dalglish

Overall it has to be Clough for me. Thought he was gonna be huge for us and ranted about him for months.

Cisse was a let down big time.

I thought we'd turned a corner when we signed Morientes, but didn't work out.

I also thought torben piechnik was gona be a decent player, at least as good as Hysen was.

I've watched him playing for Ireland for years and he's the most frustrating player to watch. He spends more time waving his hands in the air than actually doing anything. He misses way more than he scores too.
