Sick of being Fat

I’ve lost around 2 stone over the past three months. I wasn’t massively overweight but heading that way and being in my mid-forties, it was now or never. I’ve mainly cut out bread, sugar, other shite, cut down my drinking by maybe 50% and rather than drive I walk everywhere.

My calorie intake was probably around 2000 a day and now it’s half. As soon as I feel fit enough I’m going to start running again.

1000 calories a day?

How do you find the energy to walk anywhere?

My missus says that, but I walk loads and haven’t felt dizzy or weak or anything. I probably walk five miles a day, we’re not talking marathons. But I used to drive to the office and it took me longer with the one way system than it does now.

I feel okay on 1000 calories a day, well, at least until I die or something.

2000 to 2500 calories a day is normal. A case of modifying your diet, changing what you eat, rather than halving your calorie intake, would be more sensible, I’d have thought.

I’m not sure I ever ate 2500 calories a day, but I did eat a lot of shit, so there’s probably some truth in this.

80 percent or so of your daily intake is simply to keep your body working. Unless you are seriously seriously active very few extra cals are used to move about. 1000 Is far too low and will without question serious slow down your metabolism. Meaning if you do return to normal intake you will end up a fat bastard

I don't do it myself as I'm pretty slim but anyone who wants to lose weight just needs a beak habit.

I’ve never even tried it. However, I do wonder why so many of the people I’ve seen, in the pub and at the match, who shove it up their nose like it’s going out of fashion, are lardy bastards.

Beak? Like cocaine? Does that help keep weight down? Might give it a try. Are there any negative side-effects?

No, none whatsoever.

That's why the government don't like us peasants having it.

I've heard of people losing their homes, noses but being amazingly popular. Are they doing it wrong?

Currently on holidays, and if I'm not putting on a pound a day it'll be a strange thing.

Will have to get back on the keto when I get home.

Although, since turning 42 the other day, I wonder if I should just accept that I'm a middle aged fat cunt, and just buy some bigger clothes!
