Nah, wide players are allowed to wear them.

When you start seeing players like Gallas at centre back wearing coloured boots, then he should be fined.

Thought he did well last night.

i agree.

Rodriguez too. His were even wrse and looked like they were brand new. Far too clean.

Unless you are a top, top player, you should be banned from wearing them. They make average playe players look completely shit cos you notice everytime they fuck up more.

Tom are you actually criticising someone for drawing attention to themselves?

No.

Technically what I'm actually saying is that you're a bellend.

You just have to read between the lines.

Riera quite simply isn't, because he's Bert Riera.

It's El Alberto, Rossy. You just want to touch his bum and can't so you're giving him shit.

I wear white adidas boots, and I'm a good wide player.

Though the word 'wide' is used in a slightly different context in my case.

The J League has come on in recent years. Partly down to your signing I'd say.

I like Bert so he can wear whatever colour he likes. I'm expecting a good second half of the season from him after last night's competent display.

I haven't played 5-a-side for a while but when I did I wore white astros. People used to foul me and I'd go to ground easily. I even dived a couple of times and it really wound people up. That's right; I'm a diving, white boot wearing fanny.

Gary Neville once wore a pair of red ones (iI think they were). Unbelievable.

Who do these people think they are.

You can only wear non-black boots if you are a crowd pleaser, due to your silky skills. It's the law!!

Torres says in his book he prefers White boots as it makes him look better (or something along them lines)

It's true though, when Nike made him wear black boots at the start of the Euros he looked laboured and slow. Then he ignored them for the final and wore the boots he'd been wearing all season he got the winner.

PSV last season he didn't wear coloured boots and he looks a different player. Riera probably just thinks it makes him look faster.
