You see what you want to see mate - I saw effort from all 11 last night - tbh that is one of the main reasons why we won.

I think, in the main, he put in effort, which is obviously the minimum requirement. Apart from that though he was found wanting in pretty much every other aspect of the game.

I posted months ago that you's all be proven wrong about Degsy. As long as he could get and stay fit. Not saying he's the best thing since crumbled breadcrumbs but put it this way, he's better at attacking than Gary (Pass to right mid, run past, get snubbed for the 1-2 as the right mid does something that makes Gary remember his small willy and run back to the defence shouting obscenities over his shoulder and under his bumfluffed bookmark-nose) Neville and as good a defender as Heggem

Not sure it's him lacking in effort more he's learnt Babel's awareness through osmosis whilst sat on the bench next to him.

 

He stood there for about half an hour after he tried to play Kuyt in second half. Until Rafa, Sammy and Pellegrinho got off the bench all at once and screamed across the pitch at him.
