The sort of horror porn that's funny to watch when you're absolutely hammered and it's 4 am. Then you get flashbacks of it later on and hope the hangover kills you as you don't want to live in a world where this can happen.

Had to grab the Detol and rinse my eyes out.

Ash Sarkar (female left wing political commentator of colour) is copping so much abuse on Twitter at the moment, so much so that I wouldn’t be at all surprised if I read that she’d been assaulted by some right wing nutters IRL.

This 'of colour' phrase bugs me, I'm not sure why.

I do like her though, great tweets about The S*n mainly.

I am with yer on this, I don’t quite get why people of colour is good but coloured people is bad. I understand the historical context of racism, I just think some of the changing of terminology is masking a problem rather than finding a solution, however I also understand as someone who has not been racially oppressed it’s probably not down to me to decide how people choose to be referenced, it just seems a bit mealy-mouthed, and I’m not too sure what it solves.

we are all people of colour, we haven’t all faced the same level of oppression.

U wot?

Even if those people are cowards and don't use their likeness like "CharlieBakedPotato" it's an immensely stupid thing to do to insult people on a public forum like Twitter. It can get you in real trouble. People who have real arguments on social media are stupid.

Yeah, I agree. I think you could probably extend that to cover arguments on the internet in general, although I take your point about it being a specific type of swivel eyed maniac to do it so publicly.

one thing I’d like to see more is people on twitter offering each other out for real life straighteners. There must be a KFC in most countries these days so I don’t know what they’re waiting for
