Argentina is moving to Liverpool in exchange for one and half million euros

Maxi announces to his companions to march

Maxi up to Liverpool. Unless unforeseen absolute latest time, type Molinaro, the Argentine player will become 'red' in the coming hours. The agreement between clubs and is total and nearly a million and a half euros, so the player will be untied completely from Atletico, which has campaigned since the campaign in 2005-2006 and who had a contract until 30 June.

The proof that Maxi has clear future in the Premier League is the fact that yesterday I announced to the players who shared with him working at Cerro del Espino, read those who had not come into the squad for the clash against Recreativo. Among them was, indeed, Kun, for which virtually acted as cicerone Fiera landing in Spain and with whom he shares a close friendship.

Maxi had not entered into the last two lists of Quique, against Sevilla in the league and Cup yesterday, since the manager has clearly not given a minute to anyone who is awaiting a possible solution. Liverpool, meanwhile, takes to transfer to Naples for Dossena, with the money raised, closing the transaction.

Maxi Rodriguez

Liverpool have clinched a deal to bring Atletico Madrid 's Argentine midfielder Maxi Rodriguez to Anfield, signing him on an 18 month contract.

The 29 year-old has been at Atletico Madrid since 2005 and was also rumoured to be wanted by Boca Juniors. Rodriguez will link up at Liverpool with compatriot Javier Mascherano and former team mate Fernando Torres .

Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez will be delighted to have captured Rodriguez for a knock-down price, as he had been told that he must sell before bringing in new faces at Anfield. However, Atletico were eager to sell or else face the prospect of losing the player for free when his contract expired in the summer.

Rodriguez has 32 international caps and 9 goals to his name. He is set to make his Liverpool debut in Sunday's crunch clash against fellow Champions League qualification contenders Tottenham at Anfield

he's another workhorse a la kuyt

He's nothing like kuyt at all. Im not gonna say he's some amazing player but he has a very good first touch, good footballing brain and good in front of goal. He's an improvement on what we have so we can't complain. Can play on the left or the right which helps with our weak squad.

Just how wrong can people be. He's nothing like Kuyt, he certainly isn't a workhorse, either.

He's not much like Reira, either. He's a bit faster than Riera, much more skillfull and has a better shot. He's a much smarter played than both of them.
