Oof!  Fuck me I’ve just splurged coffee everywhere

Me and the Missus on a tour in Cuba went to a hastily arranged ‘cabaret‘ put on by the bus drivers where one of them did a similar performance as well as putting on wig and doing my heart will go on.

I had to leave when he did the Stevie Wonder stumbling around and tripping over to I Just Called.

the German and Russian coaches didn’t find it a bit funny. I’m still in tears 14 years later thinking about it

An Ohio sheriff’s lieutenant has apologized – and been merely reprimanded – after authoring social media posts boasting about how he would refuse to assist people who voted for Democrats during Tuesday’s elections – and would require proof of a person’s voting choice before providing aid.

John Rodgers, a veteran lieutenant with the Clark county sheriff’s office, reportedly posted on Facebook that he would consider a person’s voting record when responding to calls for service in his jurisdiction…

An internal investigative file pertaining to Rodgers’ posts obtained by WHIO also said that Rodgers claimed that he had been prescribed sleep aids by his doctor, which he alleged had been causing some of his communications to be “out of character”. Rodgers reportedly insisted that was a “documented side-effect”.

“I do not remember writing these posts or deleting any posts,” Rodgers reportedly wrote in the inter-office communication with supervisors.

Two colleagues said they had seen Dr Graham Holmes urinating into a sink

  • Published

A doctor found to have urinated in a consultation room's sink and failed to adhere to restrictions on his registration has been struck off.

Graham Evangele Eli Michael Holmes worked as a locum consultant in Hampshire, Dorset, Greater Manchester and the Wirral.

A hearing also found he told a woman that she needed a CT scan “to see if she had a brain”, or words to that effect.

The Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service (MPTS) found there was "no evidence of an acknowledgment, appreciation of, or apology for, his proven serious misconduct".

Its tribunal found Dr Holmes worked at various hospitals between August 2019 and March 2021.

At the Gosport War Memorial Hospital, Hampshire, in August 2019, a colleague said she had overheard Dr Holmes telling the woman she needed the scan - but that the patient did not hear.

Dr Holmes, who is in his 70s, told the regulator he could not remember if he made the comment.

A colleague at the same hospital reported they watched through an internal window as he urinated into the sink while pouring water from a cup down it.

Concerns were raised about him adhering to Covid-19 infection control protocols while working at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital in Dorset in 2020.

A manager said he was the “worst member of staff for not wearing his mask properly” while working at the Royal Albert Edward Infirmary in Wigan, Greater Manchester, also in 2020.

It was also found Dr Holmes had deliberately failed to comply with conditions placed on his registration over six weeks while working for the Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Trust in 2021.

The regulator said that was deliberate and the "most serious" element of his misconduct

BBC News item just now about the double decker bus crash in Manchester. The scene shows one of the buses attached to a tow truck, front wheels hitched up with a worker crawling underneath to inspect the damage. As he crawls, he's got a full builder's arse crack on display.

Mattel apologises after Wicked movie dolls mistakenly link to porn website on packaging

Toy company advises parents to ‘discard the product packaging or obscure the link’ on Glinda and Elphaba dolls

The toy company Mattel says it is taking “immediate action” after mistakenly printing a pornographic website address on the packaging for dolls released to tie in with the upcoming Wicked film.

Over the weekend, individuals began sharing photos online of the dolls’ packaging, which showed a link to wicked.com, instead of wickedmovie.com. The address was printed on boxes for Glinda and Elphaba dolls, the main characters in Wicked, played in the film adaptation by Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo respectively.

Mattel released a statement on Sunday addressing the error.

“Mattel was made aware of a misprint on the packaging of the Mattel Wicked collection dolls, primarily sold in the US, which intended to direct consumers to the official WickedMovie.com landing page,” the statement read.

“We deeply regret this unfortunate error and are taking immediate action to remedy this. Parents are advised that the misprinted, incorrect website is not appropriate for children. Consumers who already have the product are advised to discard the product packaging or obscure the link and may contact Mattel customer service for further information.”
