Really heartbreaking story. One of my closest friends lost her brother last week and is obviously absolutely devastated. He has 2 young kids (age 4 and 7). I was talking to her yesterday and she was in tears telling me how they'd broken the terrible news to the children, specifically the 7 year old. I asked how he'd taken it and what he'd said and, still in tears, she told me the kid had replied "Can I have his phone?"

I don't think I've ever struggled so hard to keep a straight face.

It's one of those stories where you laugh while you cry

You think so, but she wasn't laughing. It really upset her that the boy seemed so blasé about it. I had to explain to her a bit about kids and their non-comprehension of implications (she has no kids of her own, so I guess it's hard for her to understand).

ok, thats fucking HILARIOUS!, can you imagine if that kid becomes a stand up comedian, that`joke would need copy writing on it, its even funnier than the fishsticks joke!!

when i was about 13, a lad around the corner from me was on holidays in spain and fell out a window of 7th story apartment complex, obviously, the fella died

i was in school on the monday, and as kids we where all talking about, "i heard he was pushed", "i heard he tripped and fell", then one girl just said, "i just heard he took a left instead of a right" possibly the funniest joke ive heard, until today

When I was playing Ice hockey, there was one game, when I had just taken a shift and sat back down on the bench and I was just watching the game and someone cleared the puck and it went on the bench and smacked one of the opposing players in the face, which caused him to make a girlish squeal before falling off the bench.

The whole place went silent except me... because I was laughing(err and the crazy serbian kid who was laughing too).

My mum's friend's ex-husband got run over about a year ago. He's about 75 and ended up in hospital for about a month with a broken leg. Two days after getting out, he got reversed over by a car and broke his hip - his mate was banging on the car for it to stop reversing but it was too late - and he ended up in hospital for another six weeks. Every single time I hear this I piss up laughing, I was actually struggling to breathe the first time I heard it.

My mate managed to break both his arms, first one then the other two weeks later. It was immense. i have never laughed so hard in my life.

I would neg ya woo for being sick but i dont know what your mum looks like. you could get a rep for pics.

I'm not talking from experience here like.

Back in our school, some lad had this porno on his phone, and the bird in it looked the spitting image of some lads Mum. Needless to say the lad who's Mum it looked like changed schools, and the lad who had the porn got suspended for three days. The wonders of bluetooth meant that come dinnertime, everyone in the school had it on their phones. Funny times.

Just for the record, it wasn't my son or his Mum. I think.
