The thing that bugs me is not the fact Torres or Aquilani doesnt start, as if the last 2 matches proved anything, none of them are fit enough to play 90 minutes yet. The thing that bugs me is the balance of that eleven, plus the bench.

 

There`s no need for Darby. Would rather have an attacking option in Pacheco or Eccleston. And I most certainly hope Aurelio dosnt play centre of midfield, as he is useless there, and will be bossed out of the match by hthe hunger of the Wigan players.

 

I hope it`s Aurelio left, Kuyt right with Benayoun behind N`Gog, with Gerrard back in the middle.

Giving Aquilani a chance would have made more sense. Even Lucas deserve to play ahead of Insua who has been very poor for a long period of time.

Agree completely with this, if Insua gets injured Aurelio, can cover for him, if Agger or Skrtel gets injured Carra can move in there, to have three defenders on the bench is a crime against human nature.
