Moving house

Going through this currently.

 

First time buyer is taking our place, we're buying a property where the owner passed away a couple years ago. So minimal chain, both sides. Ideal. 

 

Our buyers have signed their contract, now waiting for ours and the buyers pack any day now from our solicitor. Have started to pack our house up today in preparation, visited the new place one last time earlier to check on a few bits.

 

My Mrs has wanted to move for years, I finally relented after our daughter was born so we can find a place with a garden and a nicer area for the little one to grow up in. Found a good fixer upper, now she's panicking and getting sentimental about selling our first home and is finding faults with the new place often we talk about it.

 

The last owner, we think, died in the property as he was an older gentleman. In the last hour she wants to investigate if the owner died on any of the carpets.

Movers will be here in an hour. Woefully behind in packing. The Mrs is on a short fuse as would any Mrs on moving day. 
 

I wonder if I can get away with a 30 minute mental health poo break.

Yep. Out East to French Nova Scotia. Dieppe (Greater Moncton) to be exact.
