They're fantastic. Like wise nocturnal ninjas.

I was impressed enough thinking they could turn their heads 360 degrees and would find reverse parking a doddle, but then someone told me they can actually turn their heads 540 degrees, 270 one way and 270 the other.

Suffice to say, I was even more impressed, to the tune of about 50%.

Let's see what they're like with a good pre-season under their belt before we start calling them awesome.

I walked into the pub the other night to see two owls playing pool. One fouled and said "Two hits". His mate replied "Two hits to who?".

On a serious note. There's a bloke in Leyland who runs an Owl Sanctuary from his house. We lived across the road from him. Nice enough fella. He lives in shit while the owls and other birds of prey are given full attention.

Have a look on the net for Barn Owl Bill.
