Probably not, but I really don't like Kuyt playing upfront, hopefully the three behind him provide decent support or he will become far too isolated and we'll struggle to keep the ball up there.

I forgot to mention in my match preview that Aurelio is out of the squad. Don't know what the problem is, I just heard he'd been replaced in the squad by the Doss.

 

If he's injured again, then I reckon it's time he was put down. He's more of a tampon than Big Dunc ever was.

Johnson and Benayoun on the right should be productive. Especially if Benayoun and Gerrard interchange.

 

But a fit Gerrard and Johnson would probably be more productive...

I'm probably the least biggest fan of Kuyt up front on his own, but as I said earlier, there really aren't many alternatives, unfortunately.

 

Let's hope it works.

 

I'm happy that both Benayoun and Riera are starting and considering that Aurelio is not available, Insua has to start obviously. He needs to improve though because he's been very poor for a long spell in my eyes.
