A phenomenal player. As good as any midfielder in the world when he was with us. If he was English there would have been a continuous wankfest over him.

Like Bryan Robson getting gushed about by Brian Moore and fat Ron for playing simple 6 yard passes before going down in a crumple for 10 minutes and limping off to mass applause

The complete player world class at tackling passing shooting and most importantly at captaining . True leader of men on a pitch. The title says the player so will leave it at that.

The best midfielder I've ever seen for us, and that's by a mile down to number two. Number two I'm still discussing with myself as to whom will get the nod.

The man could do it all. Those touting Robson anywhere near him must be braindead or close to it.

Mancs actually think this. I was only young when Robson was at his peak but all I ever remember him doing is scoring the odd goal, running around and flying into tackles then being injured for most of the season.

Maybe I'm being a bit harsh on him but it seems these days he's been built up to be better than what he actually was.

He was a very good player who wasn’t on the same planet as Souness, a player who could do everything better than Robson.

Robson was so unforgettably good, that I think up until I joined this thread 5 minutes ago, he hadn't so much as crossed my mind in nearly 30 years.

Sorry, come to think of it, I remember him being manager of West Brom and a last-day relegation excitement thingy.
