I would like to hear what Code72 has to say about this. He was championing Voronin before he went off to Hertha and even metioned that he (Voronin) was blessed with silky skills, yes, silky skills.

He's a twat end of story, Manu Petit wananbee cockhead.

And we send Nemeth of to AEK, whats the point, Pacheco not even getting a sniff.

Dire times, lets look on the brightside though Kuyt works hard and claps the fans, thats something positive to talk about in the Arkles.

He would have if he didn't have to go away with Spain.

I don't know what you would have wanted him to say when asked - to me he has said the right things (unlike Babel who is equally bad but seems to be almost giving ultimatums vis the press) and I do not agree with those who say he is lazy as when he has played this season he has quite often ran down the opposition goalie and defenders and won a throw in or possession back for us a la Ian Rush.

As a supporter wherever possible I try to be positve about players currently on our books and that even applies to Voro who seems to be hated by most. Now I will admit tho that despite all his Hertha form and caps for Ukraine (which his fans - if he has any!! - would point to) he is not good enough for LFC. The problem is that up front (thru Rafas transfer dealings tbh - and I am a Rafa fan) we have very few options other than Torres and as Voro is one of those options he has had a few games - he can pass intelligently and even in the Lyon game made a good run to receive the pass from which he missed the sitter - but that is the problem isn't it - he a striker and the main job of strikers is to score and he does not seem able to do that. Maybe if he got one it would give his confidence a boost as for sure it is rock bottom at present and cannot be helped by the negative vibes he must feel from the fans, but the truth is tbh that despite the fact that we have not many options for strikers he is not likely to get many games from now on - especially as Ngog seems to have more and more to offer each game he plays.

Worst player to ever play for us.

Makes Sean Dundee look like Pele.

You can accuse Voronin of many things, but never being worse than Sean Dundee.

Eintracht Frankfurt plot swoop for Andriy Voronin

Nov 13 2009 By James Pearce

EINTRACHT Frankfurt are plotting a swoop for Liverpool striker Andriy Voronin during the January transfer window.

The mid-table Bundesliga outfit have yet to make an official approach but are keen on securing the services of the Ukrainian international.

Voronin has struggled to adapt to the demands of the Premier League since he arrived at Anfield on a free transfer from Bayer Leverkusen in 2007.

However, the 30-year-old is highly rated in Germany and scored 11 goals during a successful loan spell at Hertha Berlin last season.

Hertha wanted to make the move permanent this summer but a proposed £3million deal with Liverpool fell through.

Boss Rafa Benitez’s attacking options are severely limited, but if Eintracht match that fee and the Spaniard is guaranteed he will be able to reinvest the funds he may decide to do business.

Voronin has yet to find the net in three starts and nine substitute appearances for the Reds so far this season and young Frenchman David Ngog has leapt above him in the pecking order to be Fernando Torres’ understudy.

The Ukrainian, who is under contract until 2011, may also have to move on in search of regular football in order to fulfil his dream of playing in next summer’s World Cup after he was left out of the squad for their play-off with Greece tomorrow.

Meanwhile, left-back Fabio Aurelio’s hopes of earning a first cap for Brazil have been dashed after a calf injury ruled him out of tomorrow’s friendly with England in Doha.

Aurelio joins the Reds’ long list of walking wounded with a number of stars battling to recover in time to face Manchester City next Saturday.

Benitez hopes Glen Johnson and Daniel Agger, who both pulled out of this weekend’s internationals, will be fit to take on Mark Hughes’ side, but Yossi Benayoun and Albert Riera are facing a month on the sidelines.

"Daniel Agger felt something in his back after the Birmingham game and didn’t go with Denmark after we spoke with their doctor and manager but I think he could be back training again in a few days," Benitez said.

"Glen Johnson’s was a strange situation because he finished the game on Monday and then travelled to London to be with England.

"He felt something in his hamstring and came back to us for a scan. Hopefully it’s not too serious and he could be available again in a week.

"Both Yossi Benayoun and Albert Riera have muscle problems and will be out for three to four weeks. It depends on each player, but for Riera this is the second time with this injury. "We will have to wait and see how they progress."

"We are disappointed because there are too many things at the moment that we can’t change. Both players are wingers as well and for them to be out at the same time is bad news for us."

Fernando Torres has started a rehabilitation and treatment programme in a bid to avoid the need to have surgery on his groin injury.

"With Fernando Torres we are talking about two or three weeks of treatment and working with the physios," Benitez said.

"Hopefully he can be running in a few days and we will see how he progresses.

"Sometimes a break comes at a bad time because you don’t like to see your players flying all over the world, but this time it gives us a chance to get some players back."

* Liverpool Reserves’ trip to Wigan has been put back 24 hours and will now be played on Wednesday, November 25 (7.30pm).

The home game with Blackburn, due to be played on December 2, will now be played on Monday, February 8 (7pm).

As I said yesterday, Rafa bought him (on a free), give him a huge contract and still plays him when it's clear he's not good enough. Blame him instead of the player.

You dont buy something on a free, you get it for nothing.

That is not quite true, is it?

If a transfer is free, the signing on fee is more than normal and the player attracts bit more salary than players who were bought.

When I go shopping I like to travel in style, so rent a stretch hummer to bring me there. I sometimes get some of the little samples they give out for free, In fact I got so many of them that I had to rent out a small warehouse to store them. Recently I decided I was going to use up some of the Shampoo but it ruined my hair and I had to pay for expensive hair folicle treatment.

Does that mean that the free samples are no longer free?

What colour was the hummer?

What about the shampoo that spoiled your hair? Send some of that to him. May be he will cry and leave.

This is an excellent plan, especially considering his chagrin with the underperforming NHS, he will surely go elsewhere to seek the hair folicle treatment. I hear they have good clinics in Baghdad.

Spot on, I just couldn't articulate it as well as you did. He was strutting about like he was fucking Figo, the massive twat.

I think he is shit, lazy and a cunt for what he said about the city. The fact that he is anywhere near the club speaks volumes for how much shit we are in.

I would rather shit in my hands and clap than see Voronin start another game for us, in fact, I would rather the club had a text in competition for the fans to take his place. His attitude fucking stinks, and his highlight of the season is 'to be fair he did try against Fulham'. So did I, I got up at 6 in the morning to watch that donkey.

Hilarious.
