Yeah Beagles are meant to be a real pain in the arse. Get a real Jack Russell Terrier, none of this short legged mutated stuff.

lovely dogs, but get a good list of excuses ready for why are are regularly late for work because if you get a beagle you will spend a few morning a week trying to get it back on the lead.

My girl had a beagle, I'd always assumed it was just an exceptionally daft one, I didn't know they were all a bunch of thickos. When it was a puppy it managed to crawl into my car's engine bay, luckily for me her mum heard him whimpering, he was about 2-3 seconds away from being minced. He also ate 2 sets of my number plates and managed to get lodged inside her sofa, took half a day to get him out and we never figured out how he got in, there were no holes anywhere. He could get quite annoying at times but I loved the little nutjob, I've never seen anything quite as happy as he was, I reckon taking a shit could have made his day. The only time I ever saw him down was towards the end, and even then he still managed that daft smile of his. I know they're not the easiest pets to look after, especially when they're young, but I'll deffo be getting myself a beagle once I have my own place, they're awesome lttle dogs.
