I met someone the other day that has a 20 year old Jack, knew they lived a while but didn't think they could live that long. Quite common for them to go to late teens apparently.

Mi is still going strong, he'll sleep a bit longer when he gets back from walks but he can still go out for 3/4 hours at a time no worries.

We don't have a fire but he kips anywhere he feels the need to. I'd say about 18 hours a dat is his normal pattern

Shitting myself today. Went last week for Stan to get his boosters and the vet gave him a once over before he did. He listened to his chest for ages and told us he heared a definate heart-murmur. He said it could just be an enlarged heart which wouldn't be an issue but also said it could be signs of heart disease or similar.

 

He's getting a chest x-ray this morning. I'm in bits waiting to hear. Can't believe I fell in love with the four-legged, smelly, expensive little legend so much that I'm this worried.
