Proper Irish white pudding is amazing. Food of the gods. My nan used to go over to Wicklow a couple of times a year and she'd always bring a couple back, as well as some Irish sausages and soda bread. Loads of us would always pile round to her house for breakfast the morning after she got back.

 

The jarg white pudding found in some places over here isn’t even worthy of the name.
