I think we’re on to a winner here, brought to you by Mrs viRdjilia. Ingredients purchased at Molesworth of Henleaze in Bristol.

2 x Venison and wild boar sausages

2 x Home cured back bacon

Fried egg, over hard

Black and white pudding

Cherry tomatoes

Beans ‘done right’

Caramelised onions

Buttered sourdough

Verdict: Excellent. Well happy with it. I think she did very well. Sausage was unusual but very tasty. The bacon was thick and brilliantly tasty, definite highlights.

Mrs aRdja has upped her game. Repped. I'm ignoring the egg fiasco.

I’m saying no to a venison sausage on my breakfast. With mash or inroad in the hole, fine, but way to rich and strong tasting for a breakfast.

The egg makes me shudder. The rest looks good though.

If you're making inroads in the hole, I doubt you'd be thinking about breakfast.

To be fair, the egg isn't Mrs Ardja's fault at all.

"How do you want your egg, Ardja?"

"Turned over and held down with a spatula for half an hour please, love."

I'm assuming that aRdja is a bit apathetic about tomatoes, so left her to her own devices to cook the tomatoes properly. Good effort Mrs A.

That aRdja egg looks like the omlette they used to put on your Biriani at UNI curry house on Renshaw Street. Haven't been there in years, though.

Everything is overcooked except the toast. Lifetime fan won't be impressed.

We stopped at Lichfield on the way to Villa yesterday to watch the Egg Chasing. I got a breakfast, which was:

1 sausage

1 bacon

1 fried egg

1 hash brown

1/2 a tomato

Half a plate of beans.

I was very disappointed.

That is at best half a breakfast and very close to a neg -- PICS OR GTFO!

I was going to take a photo but I was so disappointed by it, I didn’t bother.

I’m not a bean fan & would have left them anyway, but half plate of beans was excessive.
