So I was at the cricket yesterday, so had a fry up on the way in a cafe I've not been to before "the front room cafe" in tollington park road in London near Finsbury park.

Everything is cooked fresh, so a bit of a wait. 1 egg, 2 bacon, 2 sausage (1 comes with the breakfast I added a 2nd), 1 hash brown, beans, toast and tea. Just over a tenner.

Some of the bacon was a little undercooked for me. The sausage was decent, although the skins were tough. Too many beans. Not enough egg. Weird seeded toast. Despite all that, I enjoyed it and the seeded toast was even nice (I'm a firm believer in white toast with a fry up). All in all it was decent enough, 7.5/10. I'm not sure if I'd go back, but purely because I don't eat round there much and there's other places to try I've not been to. It's probably the best fry up I've had around N4.

The "egg" looks like someone has placed an orange condom in a white balloon and then burst it, I appreciate detail in the deep fried white dogs turd still having the sweetcorn in it but none of that distracts from the absolute inhumanity and hate crime in the form of a bean orgy slopped on your sad plate. Did you stab the chef's ma?

This, on the other hand...

Apart from everything else, why do they insist on using those cheapass triangly hash browns? Cunts trick.

I’m loving the fact you have crispy streaky bacon and back bacon there.

Two types of bacon on one plate. Dedication to the art of breakfasting, that.

The full cooked breakfast has three cornerstones - bacon, sausages, eggs. It's the quality of those three things and how they're cooked that is the foundation upon which everything else rests.

At least in the last 6 pages we've finally seen at least a piece of cooked bacon.

It's a spectacular breakfast but there's too much going on for me.  I wouldn't be able to finish it.  I would lose the beans (duh), tomatoes, black pudding, the thing in the middle, two slices of toast (as there appears to be fried bread under the eggs) and one sausage.  Change the tea to ice cold Coca Cola and we're good to go.
