There should be options for the different managers:

It did a while back for me when Everton were denied a penalty against me in the derby and after the match and I clicked the 'sounds like sour grapes' option.

 

The next headline was 'Liverpool manager thinks Everton are just bitter.'

Ultimate Soccer Manager used to have a "Bung the ref" option. You could also bet on your own matches, but there was the risk you might get caught.

Haha I had that at the star of the game I figured out that you could sell a player for £999,999,999 so it became pretty easy.
