john - you're better off not going if that's your attitude. Emile is not my cup of tea by a long shred and I'll happily pay for his taxi to his next club but while he still wears Red on that pitch he still deserves support. Anything else is childish in the extreme.

I cheer his goals because I cheer for Liverpool which is all that matters. Have to say though, he is not fit to grace this shirt.

Surely you can support the team without supporting the player? Had Bowyer come to the club I'd already determined that I wouldn't cheer if he scored. It isn't childish, just an acknowledgement that you feel that individual is not what the club does, or should stand for.

This is getting crazy. Our number 8 is shite to put it bluntly, but he is our Number 8. If he scores we gotta celebrate. Rash is right. It's about our club. Couldn't give a fuck if Cheyrou scored and H****y scored. If we won 2-0 against the Mancs or any game and they had scored I'd be celebrating. No doubt.
