Aye. It is what PES fans, me included, used to throw at FIFA, back when PES was better than FIFA

I had decided to buy neither this year, but I bought Fifa and its pretty decent so I am going to buy PES and try and give them an equal chance to impress.

It's sad. I've lost the fight and decided to just let it go. So many memories from the original ISS onwards. RIP ISS & Pro Evo.

I think I'll play it before writing it off this year, graphics look ace, which as has been pointed out mean nothing, but until anyone has played it there's nothing else to go on

PES is always about game play everything is sweet about it only bad thing was the licenses. PES would of always been seen as better if they had them.

I went into Game today to enquire about the instore price for this on the PS3 and they said they think its been delayed until the 11th November, anyone heard similar?

I got halfway through 1 game and nearly cried. I hated it and i've always defender pes over fifa but i can't. Having said that it is only the demo. I might download the pc version when it comes out. If its any good i may get the xbox version

If your into your blag versions then the it is out on both PC and Xbox360.

 

The game doesn't play like the demo but its still not got the proper names for many teams.

 

The faces are spot on this year and in some cases are almost photo quality.

I don't understand how in this day and age a game like that can lack the required lisencing for teams/players etc. It's ridiculous.

Got home and look what I've had delivered: :drool:

 

 

I've played a couple of games on exhibition mode against Australia on regular level to get a feel for the game. Won first game 1-0 (Riera) and then second game 6-1 (Gerrard 4, Babel, Benayoun). I may have to up the difficulty.

 

Gerrard is fucking lethal on this. (6) Unfortunately like FIFA, Aquilani is not very good. Hopefully he'll prove much better for our first team.

 

My first impressions is that Konami have finally pulled their fucking fingers out and developed the game unlike the last two versions. The game has improved both visually and in terms of gameplay. It's actually like the older versions of PES, which I was seriously addicted too. The menus, in game music and even the commentary has been seriously jacked up.

 

I have to say after playing it only for a couple of minutes, it felt so much better than this years FIFA, which started to annoy the fuck out of me with all the bugs in the game. The players faces actually resemble their real life counterparts.

 

I fucking love it and am going to play a few legend games and will report further on it. Was supposed to go out tonight, but fuck it.

The thing i like is the different 'sliders' you can change to alter your teams tactics.

 

You can alter it to tell them to overlap at every opportunity or to attack down the wings etc.

That is the option file that you need to get the proper names for the pc version.

 

As per normal just overwrite your existing one.

 

Its not illegal as far as im aware to share these option files otherwise i would not have direct linked.
