The cartels use drugs to keep torture victims awake and make it impossible to faint or black out, they skin people alive, take them apart piece by piece , they reckon its the most sadistic act of torture humanity has ever devised, when you think of the horrific torture practises throughout human history that says a lot.

Been listening to a podcast today on BBC about an English couple murdered in 1978 on a boat. The owner of the boat battered the bloke, hogtied them both, put bags over their heads and rolled them off the boat into the sea, after tying them to heavy weights. Takes around 3 minutes apparently. Fuck. That. Good podcast though. It's called "Paradise" if you fancy a listen.

Edit - When I lived in Hull years ago I got talking to an old trawlerman in a pub in the old town who said you'd be amazed at how many missing persons, usually scumbags who'd upset someone, had actually been "deep sixed". Tied to an anchor and dropped off a boat in the North Sea.
