Predict the final table positions

Recommended Posts

Now that the window is closed and we know all of the squads, anybody fancy predicting the final table?

Post your teams in 1-20 order, each position a team is out either way loses you one point

Highest points at the end is champion. I'll start:

1-Chelsea

2-Man Utd

3-Liverpool

4-Arsenal

5-Man City

6-Tottenham

7-Everton

8-Aston Villa

9-Fulham

10-West Ham

11-Sunderland

12-Blackburn

13-Wolves

14-Birmingham

15-Bolton

16-Stoke

17-Hull

18-Wigan

19-Burnley

20-Portsmouth

I'll post the table regularly throughout the season, closing time for entries is midnight this Friday.

I've got the same top 6 as you have, and I didn't disagree a whole lot with your other tips either. A few changes though, most notably Wolves down instead of Wigan:

1-Chelsea

2-Man Utd

3-Liverpool

4-Arsenal

5-Man City

6-Tottenham

7-Aston Villa

8-Everton

9-Sunderland

10-Fulham

11-West Ham

12-Blackburn

13-Stoke

14-Birmingham

15-Bolton

16-Wigan

17-Hull

18-Wolves

19-Burnley

20-Portsmouth

Okay, in the event of a tie, predict the total number of Premier League goals.

I'm going for 974.

Had to check the last two seasons first....942 last year and 1002 the year before (if I managed to hit the right numbers on the calculator:-)

I think we will get closer to two years ago so I'll go for 990.

Good idea this, Hermes (even if it is out of character to be so unequivocal!).
