Rams pipped at the end by the Lions, went toe to toe with them which was very impressive. Managed to pick Stafford 3 times but he came up with the goods under pressure at the very end. Very encouraging under Fisher though.

Really enjoyed that Redskins- Saints game. Don't really watch much of the college game so that's the first time I've seen the lad Griffin play. Looks a talent him.

 

Can't wait for the Ravens to get things going on Monday. I have fuck all to do on Tuesday except for pretending to work in the uni library so it'll be a late one for me watching the game.

Agreed, fuck it though despite all the horseshit calls and our own stupid mistakes we still had a chance to tie at the end. The defense will improve, the offense will be more consistent and hopefully the officials will learn what pass interference really is.

I've won my game with 3 starters still to play on Monday, which is nice. Got a bit lucky though as the Lost Vikings left 60 odd points on the bench.

Actually I think you guys will be fine, I will say I think our D would have played better had we been able to see some film on RGIII but as I've said on SaintsReport, He (RGIII) looked fantastic tonight. The amount of poise I saw from that kid was ridiculous, to make an example Vick would've been fucked in those situations. As bad as I think our defense played, a lot of that was down to him being able to move around in the backfield, had he been a less mobile QB he'd have been fucked. At the end though, it really came down to that bullshit PI call, without that we at least tie and maybe win. I can't really blame the scab refs though, my Saints made enough mistakes on their own.

When he took over his last two jobs as DC his D shipped 80-90pts in its first two games before settling down.

Yeah was a harsh call and you guys were deserving of a result.Saints D will bounce back once they have a couple of games under their belt. For the neutral is was an epic game and i love having a QB will can build the franchise around.RG3 is going be fun to watch this year.

Bit of a nightmare start for me in one league.No TD's from Richardson,Johnson or Colston.

Was always going to be up against it after the Texans defence put up 20pts and Bryant(Falcons kicker) another 16pt.

 

On the plus side Manning looks solid and Kyle Rudolph is going to get some targets each week.

Eh, in terms of information and overall quality of posts it's pretty good (actually I'm fairly certain it's the most popular Saints forum on the internet). In terms of freedom to say anything you like however, it's nothing like here, nothing at all. Don't get me wrong it's not like RAWK where you'll get banned for too much criticism or having a different opinion, rather it's just a more "family friendly" place. No cussing, no having an egregious go at other posters and definitely no porn. On their "Everything Else" board they do have a f**tball thread (Proper f**tball not American obviously) not too many reds there though, a couple Arsenal fans, a scum fan (who also supports Real Madrid as it turns out), a city fan, and at least one chelsea fan.

 

As I said though, the manner of conduct is just completely different from here, it's not over the top but it's not quite "post what thou wilt" either. Also after losses it turns into a bunch of bitching and moaning. We lost one fucking game, I get there's only 16 in a season but it's hardly a "sky is falling" moment is it?

 

How's black and gold? Never heard of it but I'll check it out.
