Same as every other sport, equipment advances have changed it - kickers kick the ball too far.

Good point. It should be interesting to see how teams cope with the change though. Someone will no doubt come up with a great play that'll then be banned.

Worse than the kick off is the tackle that's been banned. So expect to to  more 15 yards penalties deciding games, and for it to not been called in sone of tbe big market teams as much as anyone else. The NFLPA and all defensive players seems against it but the league is determined to get more points scored and make it flag/arena football like
