I switched it on five minutes ago, and England are all over the place and Van Persie and Robben are looking like world beaters. What was happening before I switched on?

Robben looked like a world beater last time I watched him for the Dutch against Norweay as well.

VDV looked absolutely superb in that match as well in his role behind the striker, how is he doing today?

Why do commentators say "He just managed to smuggle it away." when a defender gets the ball away? Its not like he put the ball up his arse and tip-toed through airport security.

Clive Tyldseley is one annoying fump.

"Heskey gets the ball to Wayne ROONEY!" STFU knobhead.

Well I missed the first half of England v Holland because I was watching a reality programme on BBC1 about people competing to be a wildlife film maker. Yes, I'm that interested. The Guardian's blow-by-blow coverage presented me with this picture though, which tells me all I needed to know.

Ah and I've just seen it on the half time highlights. What a prize twat.

Has looked pretty good from what I can remember. England are lumping the ball around a lot and crossing, wheras VDV, Van Persie, Kuyt, Robben are playing some good footie along the ground. We had one good moment where Johnson played Lampard through but the keeper saved it, and passed well for about 10-15 mins, but it eventually went to shit and Holland started playing.

Am really looking forward to the type of short passes Johnson can make for us around the oppositions area when we attack, but still a bit concerned about his defending.

i have not seen johnson make a tackle yet - he is too interested in getting forward to worry about defending.

He can appear to be like that a bit, and when you think of the way Chelsea took the piss out of us down the right at Anfield last year, and also what Arshavin did, it's a bit of a worry.

Hopefully people will not take this the wrong way since Kuyt is involved, but I have just seen the goals in the England game.

Kuyt scored but it was really close to being saved so why did he not pass it too number 7 whoever that was who had an almost open goal?

He did score so its not really important, I just think it was a strange decision to make.

He didn't want to pass to van Persie

Good on him.

Only you could complain about Dirk doing something wrong when he scores. You are very tedious.
