That's Barcelona for you.

Most definitely.

Just watched the first half between Barcelona and Getafe, the latter being the better team in the first 30 minutes and should have been ahead. Then Barca have two attacks and score two goals, mostly thanks to Messi and his vision, but by fuck they like to fall over at the slightest touch or indeed when another player is just near to them attempting a tackle without touching them. That Getafe Goalkeeper looked dodgy as fuck as well.

I love how she's pissing herself when he tells Messi to fuck off.

Yeah, the cheeky wee grin makes me love her more.

We put too much focus on Manchester City. Their thread on here is busier than some match day threads when we’re playing. We’re better in every way and they’re really not worth the level of attention that we give them. More than enough of our own positive stuff to focus on.

I'm not sure what the point is of having a "true #9" anymore. Just seems restrictive to the attack nowadays if you have a striker that can't interchange with others and that is the focal point of the attack where everything has to be geared toward him scoring.

Would you consider Lewandowski or Haaland to be "true #9's"?

I think it’s more of the moment.

This is one of the biggest news stories in a very long time and it feels like a whole fuckload of schadenfreude is deserved as they’ve manipulated and perverted the system, in some cases at our expense.

Im going to laugh and point a fucking lot and enjoy every second of it.

We won’t be talking about them when their biggest rival is again Port Vale, so it’s all relative.

To be fair to City ,  it is hard to keep the desperation when you have won something 4 of the last 6 years.

Err amnesty opinion , I thought Collymore was great and we shouldn't have got rid.

if Villa go down and we could do a good deal for Grealish, he could be in the same disliked by other players category as Collymore was. dragging opponents out the game for our men to walk through like Fowler did as a sort of hate figure decoy. think both have/had the raw skill to cope with being targeted in that way as a benefit to the team

deiseach needs to get over peoples Martin Tyler obsession. Trawling through every syllable and every inflection of every post looking for anti-Tyler bias is just pathetic.

You don't need to do too much trawling to spot his bias to be fair. He's massive stick of Manc rock with "cunt" spelt out right down the middle.

Oh, he's hopelessly pro-Man Utd. I think he views the success of Man Utd and the success of Sky Sports as being one and the same. It doesn't make him anti-Liverpool though. There was nothing in his commentary after any of the goals on Monday night to suggest he hated Liverpool, yet people still went off the deep end.

I seem to recall he dragged up the fact we dropped points against Utd for no apparent reason and had a pop at Salah again for not getting pen and saying "he had got plenty of those in the past". I think he is anti-Liverpool if for no better reason than its's compulsory for the two clubs to slag each other off . Don't need that from Sky's main commentator. I want to be watching the game not getting irritated and distracted by his behaviour. Drury should get his job and the cunt put out to grass.
