I remember getting this on a mix CD from some foxy woman who liked a bit of retro soul. Great tune, and got that 'fingernail down a comb' percussion that if memory serves me right is see on the 'What's Going On' album. Spotters badge to whoever comes up with the song/s it's used on.

Six years late but that percussion is on Right On.

Ive just listened to I'll Be Doggone on YouTube and there was 121 down votes, what the fuck? How is it possible not to like such a great track? I almost danced to it in my Lockdown misery remembering good times, bastard.
