Another one by the same guy. This one goes through 22 million years each second- humans, or at least their ancient ancestors, appear in the last fraction of a second...

Cheers for that, love this type of thing.

Have you tried the first one I posted? Absolutely amazing.

Yes mate, I often trawl the net for such videos. I just love everything about space and the fact that even though science has come on in leap and bounds we know next to little about the trillions of galaxies out there, the observable Universe and beyond. It really is mind bending and awesome at the same time. The arrogance of humans thinking planet Earth is the only planet to hold living organisms is truly baffling, especially when so many of the daft fuckers believe in a bearded creator and that Planet Earth is flat.

I showed my youngest the first one- he was gobsmacked that the sun was destroyed a couple of minutes into a 30 minute video and that all the stars had died off within 5 minutes.

There's a 2016 documentary voiced by our very own Internet Darling Jennifer Lawrence called a Beautiful Planet that includes footage filmed from the International Space Station. If you haven't seen it, it might be worth a watch.

Often talk about things with the lads when we take the dog out on a clear winters evening. Three of us looking up at the stars and chatting about what is known and our own theories. The delight on the youngest lads face when he saw his first shooting star was a thing to behold. I used to have a telescope but they become easy to grow out of and the fire for something better is quickly put out due to the cost. One of our future holidays is planned around an observatory tour. The youngest lad is 13 in January so we can finally get around to planning for it.
