The problem wasn't the guy playing the song. It was the fact that LFC fans affilliated with SOS (by attendance) are seen dancing, singing and mocking the memory of Munich.

It's not about who takes the blame and saying sorry. How can we be so offended by cunts singing about Hillsborough, when we chant about other tradegies?!

Embarrasing that, right in front of the Shankley banner. Feel a bit sorry for the organisers who've put a lot of work in to the union and could potentially have all the hard work thrown back at them by the gobshite singer and the all the dicks going along with it. Maybe a bit naive letting someone go up who they didn't know like. Sad thing is that how can we take the moral high ground now? When the mancs and blueshite kick off with they murderers stuff, that video has given people the amunition to say we are just as bad as them. Like that Cohen twat in America, all the hard work done over there to shoot this cunt down means fuck all once this goes out. SOS are seen as the representation of Liverpool Fans, and all this incident will do is alienate people. The majority of Liverpool fans will not want to be associated with that.

Why the need to organise a piss up under the SOS banner anyway? What's the aim of it all? Sure anyone can get pissed any night of the week.

Some people don't have proper freinds!

see the 'TLW football tonight' thread for examples!!!

Munich involved manager Matt Busby - a former LFC player - who was badly injured but recovered. At the time of the disaster the whole country was devasted including all LFC fans. Some of the Man Utd players - especially Tommy Taylor, Duncan Edwards (both of whom died) and Bobby Charlton (who was injured but recovered) were very popular England internationals.

LFC along with other clubs, offered to provide Manchester United with players so they could continue to meet their obligations in the league. Man Utd thanked LFC and the others but continued on with what was left of the squad and some youngsters.

The Munich chant does not accurately reflect the historical reality of the relations between LFC and Man Utd at the time or the spirit of LFC or the people of Liverpool. The Munich chant has a Nazi-like quality to it.

Id like to ask Mr SOS if there is anything being done to remove thes videos from youtube etc before the press get wind of it??

If they did it would do serious damage to your organisation and our clubs image.

Too late. According to RAOTL - already mentioned on Radio 2, copies sent by bluekipper to the Echo and MEN, Cohen is supposed to be going to broadcast it etc.

We'll just have to send this thread to all of the above and hope it does something.

Cohen will be creaming himself.

Why don't you ignore it! you can't legislate for every fan, so don't try to. As for Cohen, he said we caused Hillsborough, this doesn't prove him right! if he wants to use it let him, it doesn't validate him!

This year at Old Trafford the whole of the K stand sang 'The sun was right your murders', until other people start getting their house in order then I don't see why we should have toc constantly be forced to explain other fans actions to the media.

You don't sing it, most people on here don't condone it, that is enough!

At most it'll be a ten minute wonder in the media so best ignore it, as you say.

The only people who will remember it in a month's time will be us and people who already hate us.
