He's obviously acted a dickhead but I don't see the benefit in his missus dragging him to a premiere of a programme showing how much of a dickhead he's been let alone allowing it to have been made.

Despite him being United and Englands all time top goalscorer I still think he under-achieved a bit. If he'd gone to Real Madrid when he handed in that transfer request I reckon he could have gone down as an absolute great. Unreal talent that was stunted for Ronaldo (In my opinion)

I'm fascinated by his suits. I can't be sure if he's just bloated his way out of old ones and he's too stupid and lazy to buy new ones that fit, or he's gone out and bought new ones that don't fit in the belief they're fashionably tight. Either way, he looks bloody awful.

If his career had been a play the critics would have savaged it as badly written, badly performed and profoundly implausible. Do any of you have enough memories of his genius to make his multiple-record-breaking exploits seem believable? I don't. I remember his early promise, which was undeniably great, but there was an air of unreality about his record goals for England and his various other achievements. It was as if the great stuff went on offscreen for reasons of budget and lack of CGI.

I remember the English press predicting Jack Wilshire matching Lionel Messi. Roy Hodgson tried to build the England side around him. It all sounds good in newspapers and press conferences but quickly turns into a dejected facerub and becomes a bit sticky when you're being embarrassed by Trinidad and Tobago.

Wazza married a Liverpool fan. You can't get more of a bluenose decision than that. I'm surprised more of them don't wander the city streets with handcuffs, looking to chain themselves to the nearest Red so that they can moan about how these bastards will never leave them alone.
