Interesting thread. What is needed is of course a little respect for the fellow posters. Some of the regular posters here needs to acknowledge their responsibilities towards this web-site. If the old-timers behave the rest will follow and those who don't will be easy to get rid off.

The 'edge' of TLW has to be preserved as well, so it's a delicate matter, obviously.

That would mean I would be gone cos I dont have a work address. Think again please!

registrations......as in new .You are already registered ergo , you or anyone already registered would not be affected ...its to make it more difficult for cunts like Momo/ctrl alt and the rest of the gimps who keep coming back with new accounts

The board software allows a block on New Users registering with yahoo and other easy to abuse webmail accounts .Switching it to a ISP/work address mean that it'll be harder for these wankers to keep bouncing back

Where the hell did that come from? Why are you calling me a cunt/gimp?? I don't even know you!

I have never been banned from TLW. I have been a twat in regards to the KopTalk issue. I have apologised for it. I was wrong.

I would never make a new account if I was banned. All Dave has to do is say the word and I'll be gone.

What about decent people with something interesting to say who dont have work addresses. Or are we being prejudiced against the unemployed?

Another thing, if you go down the banning Yahoo, Hotmail etc. addresses, is people who use these kind of addresses for registering on websites etc, so as to limit the amount of SPAM their work email addresses get. I always use a disposable email account for signing up to these things, since you never know when the emil address will be cracked and you suddenly have thousands of spam messages a week.

What about all us decent workers of the world who are not layabouts who sit in an office all day scratching their arses. Im in construction and I dont mean high up, just a worker. If you bring in this work address shit we will be fucked and this forum will be full of pansies who are too scared to get a proper job because its cold outdoors.

Just a thought mind.

I work outdoors quite a lot. I am looking at the days getting colder and it fills my heart with ice.

Its not too bad mate when you are used to it, when you go the match and everyones like that "Oh its freezing". Thats when you can tell the office workers from the real men of the world.

Saying that though I wish Id done fucking better at school cause I wouldnt mind working in an office in the winter, instead of climbing a ladder with your hands feeling like ice.

I have 12 hour shifts, in the middle of the night, out on hills in the middle of nowhere in winter, in sleet. About three hours into it you want to die.

If you do your job properly, you can always get the train home though.

I think this is turning into a wind up isnt it where you go one better every time, which is why i'm gonna go and have my tea which I have had to put in the microwave because of the unsociable hours associated with a non-office job.

It seriously isn't a wind up. I'm an engineer on the railway. It's ace in the summer but horrible in the winter when you just beg for as much office time as possible.

Come off it! You are doing a physical job which can keep you warm, then when you've finished, just cuddle up to the sheep you've been shagging for extra warmth.

If you think you feel bad, what about the poor invaded sheep?

He's not telling lies, I work for the same company but in a different location. I am that lowly that I have to clean Stu Monty's colleague's shit from toilets, empty their bins, clean the office kitchen and such other stuff.

it's fine as it is. that's why it's probably the the best lfc site out there. just ban rashid. i doubt you'd have as much bother if he was gone, that's the only reason i keep signing up anyway, to give him abuse.

Yes I have.

Although the fact I drive a Ford Escort with a devastated gear shift has little to do with the weather.
