Some huge overrating of Silva going on here. Good player but not as good as being described here and very light weight. Lets just wait and see eh?

let's be fair, it's nowhere near the overrating you give the Q-man.

He's no Quaresma that's for sure and furthermore I reckon he's incapable of performing a decent stepover either.

valencia deal will be concluded in couple of weeks, after alonso deal, apparently. p/x + 40 m.p.

 

voronin is rated @5, riera@9,5 or more, apparently.

the ironic thing about the perception of silva in comparison to riera on this forum is that we all seem to rate silva higher than riera, but while riera was a regular during th confed cup, silva almost always came off the bench, which may mean one of two things:

 

1. The Great Mustachioed One rates Riera more

2. Silva had a slight knock or something that i don't know about.

Just checked and he had an ankle problem that kept him out of the end of the la liga season aswell.

 

Had an ankle operation last September which kept him out for four months, dipped in and out after that, didn't complete the season. Also not fit enough to play a major part in Confed Cup. Complained of 'physical problems' for the whole of last season.

Silva was always going to be a big target for us since Macia is in charge of finding players for us, and he found Silva for Valencia, and rates him very highly.
