He's bossing the neighbourhood now by the way, his scars have all healed up & he goes out when he wants & doesn't give a fuck. He's clearly kicked that other cat's cunt in, he's basically a furry Chuck Norris.

woke up this morning to a phonecall from Huyton PSDA informing me one of my cats had been taken in at 0140 by a stranger after being hit by a car. I live in St Helens so couldnt believe it. The wife saw a post on FB about a cat being taken in. The wife had to come out of work and we drove up. Shes had to have her eye removed and xrays. Already cost us £600 pound and may cost another £500. Typicall we cancelled her insurance 2 months ago when the wife changed jobs and i changed work as well.

That's very sad, but the cat can recover and adapt (your bank balance might not however).

We have a three-legged cat who was run over as a kitten before we adopted her, and an old one-eyed cat who eventually went blind. Both manage just fine.

Shame though.

Sorry to hear that. I hope she pulls through.

Cheers for replies.

X-Rays came back all clear so ourselves and the bank balance had a sigh of relief.

She's called Tash and is only 2yrs old and the girls are already saying we may rename her Popeye.

Hopefully picking her up today but should i be wary of her needs now or will she adapt naturally.

Our lady went missing last week. Daughter  is in bits over it ,sitting by the window waiting for her to come home and taking a stuffed bear to bed because the fur feels the same. Heart breaking.

That's awful.

My mate in Melbourne had his cat go AWOL recently & he came back after six or seven days so there is always hope with the enigmatic twats.

When we were kids my mum and dad's cat went missing for about 6 months.  One day she just strolled in, straight to the food cupboard and gave us the "come on, I haven’t got all day you know" look.
