Our Mexican immigrant cat, Furnando, is a little on the small side and gets picked on by our three-legged cat (who rules the entire neighbourhood).

He tries to avoid her by spending time around the hood in quiet places she won't visit, but if I'm home, he feels more comfortable and usually hangs near me.

Now that I'm off early to school every morning on my bike, he tries to follow me across the street and down an alley with lots of bushes and greenery he likes. I usually just walk with him for 50 yards and then ride off and never look back....you can't look back.

The cool thing is he often there when I ride home later in the day. I ride back down the alley and call his name, and he jumps out from a bush or behind a fence and cries at me really loudly - so happy to see me.

We then walk home together for the last 100 yards or so.

Love that cat.

Our crazy Calico has taken to joining us for walks around the neighbourhood- always staying within 10 metres or so, and standing guard if anyone or anything suspicious is near.

Other than that, we now need a second litter box with the 3 cats.

We have the one you roll over and don't have to scoop.

What is the best litter box you have? Suggestions?

usually you need one box per cat, but if two works for your three, then great.

we use some of those massive plastic storage boxes from IKEA - it's more like a litter beach than a box.

Got any pictures of your cat where he isn't looking at you with murderous hatred?

I don't.

He'd love to rip my head off & drag my corpse through his cat flap like one of his rabbits, yet I probably consider him to be my best friend these days.
