Decided to get some of these for the craic...They're actually brewed by Vocation Brewery in UK

The Pale Ale is quite nice and the SN IPA has a really flavoursome aftertaste..deffo glad I got them.Only real downside is the girly cans ...I'm not a fan of girly sized 330ml cans ,much prefer a 440/500 ml

On my 2nd go on my brewdog advent calendar. Day number 6. Snow Ball and cream soda lager.  It tasted better than I imagined and it was still fucking horrible!

Mine wasn't supposed to come for ages, then my missus got a message to say it would arrive in a day and she was expecting it a month later.

Thats not bad service wise really ...I'd be well fucked off though personally as I'd end up doing like you and just horsing into them ...I've one enroute from my local craft specialists/distributers too which is 24 x 440mls from 24 different Irish brewers.

What was that one like, love subtle coconut in stouts.

Stunning ...its seriously good..had some on draught in the brewery too and that was even better .Rascals are one of my favorite Dublin brewers. Not sure when they'll be brewing this one again though, they are currently selling their latest Chocolate stout .

Best Coconut stout for me was from Lacada Co Op Brewery in Portrush  ( I should Coco) ...packed with flavour and the aftertaste was like a dark bounty ...its amazing.I've had that on draft a few times too and its a showstopper.Think its available via some London/Manchester online craft distributers

Just signed up to drikbeer monthly subscription, it’s only been going a few months and it looks like they’re trying to build a reputation as the pack is amazing.

This is the month just gone.

Seems pricy, but broken down is a relative bargain.

Are these all being sent from Denmark to UK ? is that included in the prices or extra ?

By the way those prices may change quite drastically  in a few weeks but to compensate you get a shiny blue passport

Some of their beers are really extortionate ...one of their "deals" is €72 for 6 beers without postage ..thats nuts

Yes.

No, there’s postage, about £10, which is fine when you weigh up how much it would normally cost to buy them at a mark up in the UK

Thanks, I’m aware of the impending shitfest and how much it’s going to cost in currency fluctuations.

Today's was a fucking diaster. How does that freud saying go, there's no such thing as accidents? So below was by brewdog today. As I pulled it out and it was a 440ml, I was made up. Then I saw it was a fucking sour. I've nothing against sours as long as I don't have to drink them. Every now and again I'll try one which sounds nice in the hope I don't hate them (in fact I did on Monday night and still hated it!), They're just not for me. Anyway, I was home-brewing today, I was getting near the end and decided I'd earned a pint. So I cracked the can, opened the cupboard door and somehow retrieving my glass, I managed to knock another one, while I went to grab it dropped the one I was going for, I somehow brought them both together, they shatter and not only did I lose 2 cracking glasses, cut the palm of my hand, loads of glass fell in to the pre-opened can. Fucks sake. But it was only a sour I guess.

It's a massive shitter breaking a decent beer glass.  I love sour beers but rarely touch them in the winter months (same with wheat beers).

@Gav good work there!

Today I've opened another from my brewdog pack. The last couple of days have been standard fare (punk and hazy o-g) but a new one for me today. It wasn't the most disgusting thing I've ever had, but that's about the best compliment I can give it. It might be acceptable on a hot summers day. If you had no other beer.

I’ve decided to go on the Wagon for the lockdown. So been off the ale for 8 days now.

There’s a brewery a few villages over from me that I was supposed to be doing a tour of Friday (day after lockdown). They’ve started doing free delivery to my village and 20% off. So just I just took delivery of 12 cans of NEIPA and a mixed case, and a bottle of gin.

It’s gonna be a long month

I think I'd be off the wagon!

I'm actually on a lockdown diet. So I've planned my daily brewdog into my calorie intake ... Bye bye lunch. And once we're back playing after the internationals I think I'm going to have to have concession on match days as I'll need a drink to get through our defence I think.
