Hard to believe what was comming out of his mouth today

Had nothing but good words to say about LFC and especially Torres being the best striker in world football.

Very positive indeed and hard to disagree even when he made the point about Rafa being cautious. in games like this Rafa is brilliant

I don't have a problem with Gray 95% of the time. Every now and again his bitterness shines through but he's fairly even handed with us (just listen to him eulogise over Torres and Gerrard).

He said yesterday, 'Forget Drogba, forget Eto'o, this kid (Torres) is the real deal and the best in the world'.

He definitely knows his football and I usually enjoy listening to his analysis.

He also blatantly wanted us to win yesterday to make the race a bit more interesting.

Yes, he and Tyler seemed to swap attitudes. Tyler was saying we'd gone ahead via 'a gift' and a 'defensive howler' (unlike their penalty??). I don't think Tyler's quite recovered from losing the chance to shriek 'Henrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrryy!' in that ear-splitting way of his. Maybe he should buy a vacuum cleaner.

He's nowhere near as bad as Keys. The thing about Gray is he's an egomaniac, so, as a pundit, he'll go whatever way the wind blows, because he'd hate to seem out of fashion. If we happen to look fashionable, well, it'll irritate him but he'll go along for the ride. Keys, on the other hand, has gone bonkers. He seized on every negative comment before the match - 'You heard that? MUST WIN. That's what he said. MUST WIN!!!!! Couldn't be clearer! MUST WIN!!!!!!' And after we won - ''Well, it probably won't make a difference..' Gray's as okay as his ego. Keys is well and truly in madland.

Gray's on Sky Sports 1 now doing the Final Word. Being very positive, currently going through the Real Madrid game.

"Liverpool spanked Real Madrid. Absolutely spanked them. If they'd had scored 8 against Madrid they couldn't have complained."
