Rob ‘Bullet’ Barber. A bike racer and IT consultant from Bury.

Rob ‘Bullet’ Barber, 38, last night accused shadow justice secretary Richard Burgon’s party of railing against billionaires and the uber-wealthy, while actually pledging policies which would raid the pockets of ordinary employees.

Just told my employers that Rob the Bullet says I should be on £80,000 year and can I have it backdated to when I joined in January 2017. Was happy to pay my extra £20 a month tax and even hand over a backdated lump sum.

Unfortunately, they laughed and told me to “fuck off.”

Rob Barber is an English motorcycle racer and clown, who as an independent self employed IT contractor looking after his own accounts, clearly failed his Maths GCSE.

He won the only running of the TTXGP in 2009, the forerunner to the TT Zero.[1]

In the TT Zero he has multiple podium finishes, including a second place in 2010 Isle of Man TT and third at the 2013 Isle of Man TT and 2014 Isle of Man TT.[2][3][4][5]

In November 2019, he appeared on Question Time believing his annual salary of £80,000 was not in the top 5% of the country, when in fact it is in the top 3%.[6] This is known in the bike racing community as a 'self-soil'.

He got wealth and salary mixed up IMO.

Agreed and his examples of professional salaries didn't stack up.

80k may be the top 5% of PAYE but this doesn't paint the true picture of wealth/how rich you are.

There are huge differences between different areas of the country, 80k may be in the top 5% of the PAYE for the country and you may be considered "rich" in certain areas.   However, you are certainly nowhere near rich on 80k in London and the home counties for example.
