'Completely different' is just a re-filming of their first few episodes, so can't really be included. Grail is superb, although the singing irritates me for some weird reason.

Meaning of Life in at number two, very strong throughout with several classic comedy moments ("this is for your benefit boy, not mine").

But still at number one for the 356th week running, its Brian. His name was Brian. Python at their absolute peak.

I'm going to be different and say that it's Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

I love Life Of Brian , but I still feel Holy Grail is more pythonesque and a bit more like the original spirit of the series.

In essence , Life of Brian is cleverer but I like the more chaotic feel of Holy Grail.

The final scene of Brian is the most wonderful moment in all film. I'm never sure if I'm laughing or crying, but I've got tears in my eyes every time. "Always Look On The Bright Side..." is also that Churchillian spirit that the tabloids bang on about so much, distilled into a nutshell brilliantly.

I'm going for Holy Grail, though. Sorry.
