I was just reading about his house being destroyed in the fires in California & didn't realise he was married to Daryl Hannah, I don't know why but I'm kind of shocked by that.

He's had a pop at Trump as well.

No but it's on my list to read. I've been rattling through the music biographies recently so I'm not sure why I've not got round to this one. My brother read it years ago & loved it.

Bit of a time investment given the size but well worth it.

Going to see him tomorrow, he's in Winnipeg for two days, smallish venue- about 2000 seats or so- never been to it, I got a ticket 32 rows from the stage.

He spent part of his youth in Winnipeg; the house where he lived is about five blocks from my place, and more importantly, same street as my local. I drive a bus and one of the routes goes by it. So, yeah, Neil and I are best mates practically.

He did six songs before he brought out the band, War of Man and Song of Love being great. His voice was fantastic.

As it was a small venue when Crazy Horse came out and they were sorting out the   guitars some guy yells 'Rockin' in the Free World' and Young steps up and say what he said and launched into it. Then some twat yells too early. Stayed away from many of the songs I know him for (Ohio, Southern Man, Old Man, Heart of Gold, etc)but was really glad he played I'm Wondering. Love that song.

Encore I was surprised he did Like a Hurricane another song that I love of his, and finished with Hey Hey, My My.

I rarely go to concerts (last one was Dire Straits in the 90's) but think I will start as these legends won't be around forever.
