Looks its been done to death. I have no inclination to do it again.

Even if you factor in all those changes there is very little in it. I'd even contend there wasn't much between our squad's, which has also been done to death.

We had a decent enough base when Rafa arrived, we had a solid back four, as good if not better than what we have now, a young StevieG and a great player in Hamman. We also were about to lose the outstanding Owen, not Rafa's fault.

We were short on the wings and in creativity. 55 signings and an awful lot of money later we are still short in those areas. Its not about having a go at Rafa, I just don't accept that Rafa has been completely hamstrung financially. He hasn't. Its a bullshit excuse anyway, but pulling it up for not beating, or even having a go against the likes Stoke and Hull is disingenuous.
