It reminded me of the Morientes one with us , where a player just does not suit a certain type of football league.

Kroldrup is actually a very good player. Everton didn't suit him because he's not a yard-dog, same goes for Matteo Ferrari.

Plenty of rumours about Bitters scouts getting the name of the player wrong. Wasn't Agger, though, that's bollocks.

 

What is true is that some of his "injuries" that prevented his debut for MONTHS were indeed slightly exaggerated, and Gollum knew he had to get rid when he realised that Koldrup had absolutely zero aerial ability.

 

In one specially set-up training session, he watched in bitter, ginger, boggle-eyed agony as James McFadden beat Koldrup in the air ten times out of ten.

 

End of Premiership career, right there.
