It's happened again.

I wish I wasn’t upstaging you on this one but we and 2 other neighbours had our sheds broken into last night.

From the looks of it of it it looks they were disturbed. If they come back the house is going up for sale. I can’t do this again

That's fucking awful, Champ.

My liberal attitude to stuff goes out the window when it comes to thieves & especially those who break into other people's property. Should be shot, the lot of them.

That’s the third time we’ve been broken into here. This one’s properly floored me.

Edit. Your reply has brought the first smile to my face today. Anyone see Questiontime last night?

There really was a type of code where working class people's homes were off limits to burgularies and theft. There is something to the Kray twins method of Neighbourhood Watch.

Really? Have you any evidence for that? It just doesn’t seem possible. Unless a few people were burgled loads of times.

Drugs put pay to that sort of community spirit a long time ago.

Sadly that's only partly right. The days of the professional burglar sticking to shops, banks etc are long gone. Sadly there's now a breed of cunt out there now who choose house breaking as a profession and who aren't doing it to feed a drug habit.

It was quite a while back now but yes,it did exist. It should also be said that nobody waxed lyrical about it because it was still in areas of poor quality housing and low income families where every day was a struggle. I know some people struggle to believe this but when people have so little they used to be interested in sharing rather than hoarding what they have.

So where’s the evidence?

How do you provide evidence of personal experience? I hope you don't think I was serious about 'the Krays Neighbourhood Watch' comment as that was sarcasm. Just because you may have lived in areas where they'd rob your shirt if you turned your back all your life doesn't mean others havent.
