Has there ever been a show with so many superb scenes? Greatest programme ever made. Watching a bit of it again now. Said it before on here but Junior should have been involved more. Wonderful character, he spent too long under house arrest.

Love the way Paulie takes the mower at the end of this scene.

They could have made a whole series based on the flashback scenes. Some pearlers in there.

I like the Kevin Finnity scenes. Also, Phil Leotardo's "whacking" is a good scene too, especially the reaction of the witnesses! Also, although I was initially disappointed, having read an in-depth explanation/interpretation of it, the final scene is fantastic.

I've watched the whole show, start to finish, twice now. Second time was only recently, but I could easily watch it all over again.

Janice Soprano sticking a dildo up Ralphie Cifaretto's arse while he moaned at her to make him her bitch and turn him out for a whore.

I literally rolled on the floor laughing and hit my head on a coffee table the first time I saw it.

Tony was such a complex character that every scene he's in is fascinating to me. James Gandolfini pulled out the acting job of a lifetime to play him.

I finished the boxset last night for the first time. It's just absolutely brilliant. I can't even begin to think about favourite scenes because for the full, what? 65 hours? It's just relentless. The final series is completely breathless, I was literally sitting on the edge of my seat watching it.

As for the final scene, is there a thread on that somewhere. I have my own interpretation, but I would be interested to read other people's.

Okay, well if anybody wants to read some people's interpretations of the final scene, there is about a decade's worth of reading in the comments on this article:

Page 1 « The Sopranos: Definitive Explanation of “The END”

Personally, I think it has been over-analysed. I remember seeing an interview with Richard Ashcroft. In the interview he talked about people asking him to explain the meanings of his songs. He said something along the lines of "I don't want to make songs like cheeseburgers. I don't want to give it to you and say 'here is a cheeseburger'. I want to provide a song and you take from it what you want". It's not the most eloquent explanation of this kind of paradox, but I think it's gets the point over. It's art, it's there to be personally interpreted by each individual.

I suppose another example would be the ending of Inception. Some people would say it's kopping out not to give a definitive explanation, but I see it as giving people options to view it as they wish to. I don't think mystery is the enemy. In fact, I think it's quite the opposite.

Why, yes there is. Just waiting to be bumped with your thoughts. http://www.liverpoolway.co.uk/forum/gf-general-forum/68629-last-episode-sopranos.html

Just re-read it myself and it makes me happy Philly is banned.
