Annoying Americanisms

Is Mall an Americanism? I used to think it was but then there is Pall Mall but we pronounce it Mall instead of Maul.

I think the Mall in Pall Mall is an old word for a long wide street or something. I could be wrong though as I can't be arsed to google it.

I'd be curious to find out how many yanks turn up there every year hoping to see a JC Penny.

It's also commonly known as cafeteria. Don't get me started on the Irish fuck ups.

'It's cold so it is.'

I know, you just said it is cold, there is no need to fucking repeat it a second after you have just said it. :wallbutt::wallbutt::wallbutt::wallbutt:

Anyway back to the American ones.

The word 'sneakers' really irritates me. It sounds like a slang term for a stalker, not things you put on your feet.

No, you are watching too many darby o gill and the little people films Woo my man. Yu stereotypical eejit. Thats bollocks Lance. Its used over here by culchies because of the Gaelic.

What is meh? I've seen it a few times but have no clue as to its meaning.
I think it means average or unspectacular. Say the word out to yourself. "I saw the latest sneakers by Doucci and Gabbana at the Mall and I was like, whatever, they are so Meh". It's like Homer's annoyed grunt "d'oh" only so less imaginative. The personification of inarticulate, idle msn generation fuckwittery. Your bad.
